What converts cleanly, and what to double-check
Everyday documents convert cleanly: letters, reports, CVs, forms, and handouts with standard formatting. Worth a second look are documents built around exotic fonts the conversion environment may not have — text still converts, but the font may be substituted — plus tracked changes and margin comments, which are not part of the printed page and are not carried over. Complex nested layouts sometimes shift by a few points, so open the result once before sending it onward.
