About this tool
From plain text to a real book file
EPUB is the format every major reader app accepts, but making one normally means wrestling with desktop software. Here you paste text and the browser builds a complete EPUB 3 package: a table of contents generated from your chapter headings, one XHTML file per chapter, and correct book metadata. A # heading names the book, each ## heading starts a new chapter, ### and deeper headings become in-chapter sections, blank lines separate paragraphs, and - lines become bullet lists.

- Up to about two million characters — longer than most novels. Longer pastes just take proportionally longer to build.
